Australian High Commission rehabilitates Amanase Health Centre

Amanase (ER), Dec. 14, GNA - The Australian High Commission in Ghana has rehabilitated the Amanase Community Health Centre in the Suhum Kraboa Coaltar District at the cost of GHc22,351.

Mr Ian Gould, Third Secretary of the High Commission, said this at the inauguration of the facility at Amanase on Wednesday.

The facility, which includes male and female wards, was in response to a request made to the High Commission by the Action Youth Club, a youth organization at Amanase, early this year.

He said earlier this year, Australia provided GHC 195,000 for a Health Centre and ambulance to the Okanta-Sra Community in partnership with the IN Network, Ghana, a non-governmental organization.
