Assembly member initiates monthly communal labour

Mile 50 (E/R), July 10, GNA - The Assembly member for Mile 50 in the Osabene Electoral Area of the New Juaben Municipality, Mr Robert Ayim, has appealed to residents of the area to participate in communal labour to keep the environment clean.

The Assembly Member said he has instituted a monthly communal labour for the community to help improve sanitation in the area.

He was addressing the people after participation in a communal labour on Saturday to desilt choked gutters at Mile 50 and to cover potholes on the Mile 50-Osabene road near Koforidua.

Mr Ayim said he would support the community to initiate self-help projects to help improve the standard of living of the people and thanked the residents for taking part in the communal labour.
