Asogli State Council establishes Lands Secretariat

Ho, Aug. 6, GNA - The Asogli State Council has established a Lands Secretariat to register all stool and family lands in the traditional area.

Togbe Anikpi III, Divisional Chief of Ho-Heve, is chairing the five-member executive.

A press statement issued by Mr John Kukah, Secretary to Togbe Afede, the paramount chief of the traditional area, said the secretariat would pursue all unpaid compensation on lands acquired by government to end all legal actions by landowners.

The statement said the State Council would establish a community bank to assist small-scale enterprises.

It called on the Government to expedite action on the rehabilitation and expansion works on the Ho Nurses Training School to facilitate the enrolment of more students.
