Asiakwa SOS Village Calls For Help

Village Director of Asiakwa SOS in the East Akyem municipality of the Eastern region, Emmanuel Ekow Effirim has appealed to philantropists as well as coperate bodies to come to the aid of the home or faces closure in the coming years.
According to him, the home lacks constant sponsorship which cannot guarantee the future of the village if assistance to the school is not regular.
Speaking to Bryt fm news, Mr. Ekow Effirim said the village over its establishment in 1993 has been depending on foreign donor support and donation from individuals and other organisations which is normally not constant.
"I am appealing to the public to come to our aid so we can help the children to have a successful future" he mentioned.
He however commended donors and other philantropists for their support over the years.
