Asante-Akim South District Assembly awards dedicated workers

Juaso-Ashanti, Dec. 29, GNA 96 Asante-Akim South District Assembly has awarded 15 of its workers for their dedication to work during the year at an end-of-year get-together at Juaso. The award scheme instituted in 2001 seeks to motivate staff of the assembly to work hard to accelerate development in the district. Director was adjudged the overall best worker. Dr Lord Justice Gyamfi-Fenteng, Asante-Akim South District Chief Executive, asked the workers to emulate the award winners in future. He noted that the awards scheme had made a tremendous improvement in the assembly's human resource base and called for renewed efforts to sustain it.

Mrs Gifty Ohene-Konadu, Member of Parliament for Asante-Akim South commended the award winners and urged them not to be complacent but strive to achieve more laurels.
