Aowin Municipal Assembly donates to Enchi Central Mosque

The Aowin Municipal Assembly on behalf of the Central government has donated assorted items to Muslims at Enchi Central Mosque.

The items include; 20 bags of perfume rice, 10 boxes of frytol cooking oil and 10 boxes of sugar.

Donating the items on behalf of the government, the Chairman for the ruling New Patriotic Party for Aowin Constituency, Mr. Samuel Ebbah Boadi said as part 30 day fasting and prayers (Ramadan) for 2019 that Muslims are doing, its incumbent on the part of the government to do such donation to support and also to encourage them so that they will be able to do the Ramadan successfully.

Mr. Ebbah Boadi asked the Muslims to continue to always remember the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government in prayers so that they will be able to fulfill all promises.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Chief Imam, Abubakari Sadique, the Secretary to the Chief Imam, Moro Buakari was grateful to the Assembly and the government for always doing such wonderful donations to them anytime they are in the Ramadan period.

He asked Allah’s blessings for the Assembly and the government.



"We shall continue to ask Allah to open more chances and continue to pour his blessings to you and your government anytime we are on our knees", he added.

On his part, the Deputy Chief Imam, Zakari Mohammed said they were astounded to always see the Assembly bestowing to them whenever they are observing Ramadan.

Mr. Zakari seized the opportunity to appeal to the government to assist them with tiles, cement, paints and louver blades to finish their uncompleted Mosque.
