Another road crash in Kintampo; one feared dead

One person is feared dead in an accident on the Kintampo-Techiman road in the Brong Ahafo region.

The driver of the Tipper truck involved in the accident reportedly died on the spot after the vehicle somersaulted Friday.

It is unclear why the vehicle, carrying several empty crates of Guinness, skidded off the road and landed in a nearby pit. So far, only the truck is known to have been involved in the accident.

The development comes in the wake of the disaster that hit the nation after over 60 people were killed on the same stretch of road in a clash involving a Metro Mass Transit Bus and a tipper truck carrying tomatoes.
