Anita Hotel Inaugurated

The Ashanti Regional Manager of the Ghana Tourist Board Mr Ben Anane Nsiah has advised hotel owners and managers to pay extra attention to what he termed ‘internal marketing’ to ensure sustained growth of business.

“What I mean here is, do not only run adverts on radio and television and in the newspapers to market your products and services but ensure excellent customer care and regular maintenance of facilities as and when necessary for maximum customer satisfaction,” he explained.

This he said would always put hotel owners in business since customer satisfaction and professional service delivery are the major components that thrive in these days’ competitive marketing.

Mr Anane Nsiah gave the advice during the official opening of an ultra modern hotel “Anita Hotel” located at Akyawkrom a town near Ejisu off Kumasi Accra road in the Ashanti Region.

The Ashanti Regional GTB Manager told Managers of Anita Hotel to be extremely sensitive with pricing and eschew exorbitant price charge; he said they should make concrete justification in their pricing that would worth their service delivery.

Anita Hotel which is categorised under two-star group of hotels has 22 rooms comprising common, standard and executive rooms as well as executive suits all fitted with split air-conditions. The hotel also has two conference halls consisting of a plush banquet hall suitable for board meetings equipped with full audio visual facilities, an eighty capacity restaurant, terrace bar and an art gallery. Other facilities include swimming pool, spacious car park, stand-by generator and an in-house laundry and a gymnasium.

The Managing Director of the Hotel Mr Kofi Sefa Boakye a business mogul in the Agro Chemical Industry in an interview told Ghanaweb that adding hotel services to his numerous businesses was a dream-come true. Mr Sefa Boakye therefore reaffirmed his commitment to live up to expectation as regards contributing his quota to the development of the hospitality industry.

He assured prospective customers of excellent and professional service delivery that would give credence to the proverbial Ghanaian hospitality.
