Atonsu-Bosomtwe road which was awarded to Kofi Job Construction Limited have been abandoned.

Thee aggrieved residents have expressed concern about the dusty nature of the roads.

Speaking to Pure FM’s Ambassador Osei Kwadwo, the residents said it would be necessary for Contractor Kofi Job to water the roads to control the dust.

The residents revealed that over three (3) people have been knocked down and killed by vehicle due to the nature of the road.

“It is so pathetic. Our leaders do not think about us. We are not going to tolerate this behavior from Contractor Kofi Job any longer. He should water the road for us to control the dust on the road if he is not ready to asphalt the road.

“We will block the road and prevent all vehicles from using this road. We are serious this time and nothing can stop us. We are giving Kofi Job Construction Limited and government two weeks to address our concerns or face our wrath,” they warned.

Ambassador Osei Kwadwo who visited the road reports that, some stores, shops and businesses around the road have been shut down following the dust on the road.
