Akim Asene Methodist School gets computers

The Akim Asene Methodist Primary and Junior High School has received eight desktop computers.

The gesture was the collaborative effort of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA), the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Robert Yaw Owusu Boateng and Mr Osafo Darko, an old student.

Miss Grace Koranteng, Headmistress of the School, expressed gratitude to the donors after the presentation.

She appealed to benevolent organizations and well-meaning individuals to assist the school to renovate its buildings and also provide a computer laboratory and a centre for Information Communication Technology training.

Miss Koranteng said the school was ever ready to provide land for the centre.

Mr Enoch Krampah-Forson, a teacher responsible for ICT training, called on his colleagues and the people to lend their support to help improve teaching and learning in the area.
