The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Agona East constituency, Hon Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr together with the Council of Elders of the constituency has commissioned a 12-seater toilet facility for the people of Agona Abosomasi.

This decision was taken after a cholera outbreak during the raining season.

The ceremony which was chaired by a founding member of the NDC in the constituency, Mr. Arthur used the opportunity to swear-in five executive members of the party at a colourful ceremony.

The executives subsequently assisted her to cut sod for other toilet projects in three (3) other communities including Kwao Tetteh Akrabong, Fante Bawjiase and Mansafo.

The MP also emphasised her commitment to further develop the constituency with her three priority areas being the construction of school buildings, community centres and community toilets as her main focus.

The chiefs, elders and the entire members of the communities could not hide their happiness and openly showered praises on Queenstar as they asked for more projects and God’s blessings for her.
