Victims of the Adum Blue Light Market fire disaster are marking one year since the incident and are accusing their leadership of mismanaging over GH¢1.17 million in donations.

The affected traders claim that some of the donations received have been used by their leaders without any tangible evidence to show.

In an interview with OTEC News reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng, the traders revealed that they have seen a document claiming that over GH¢1.17 billion were used to fix drains at the market.

"We are very much aware that some of the donations went to the Regional Minister, KMA, and the leadership of the traders. However, the money that was meant for the traders cannot be traced now," they said.

The traders expressed disappointment in the leadership, citing what they described as poor handling of issues regarding the fire incident.

They are now calling on authorities in the region to provide proper accounts to the traders, stating that they will not rest until the funds are fully accounted for.
