Accident cases reduce in Tema and its environs

Tema, Nov. 25, GNA - Accident cases recorded between January and June reduced to 351 involving 390 vehicles as against 488 involving 710 vehicles in 2010 in Tema and its environs.

Superintendent of Police Oduro Amening, Tema Motor Traffic Transport Unit (MTTU) of the Ghana Police Service Commander, made this known at the National Public Transport Day held at Tema.

He said persons killed as a result of the accidents reduced to 44 in 2011 from 53 in 2010. %3
