The Ashanti Regional Police Command has deployed approximately 500 officers to ensure maximum security during the one-week observance of the Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.

According to the police, the deployment is part of ongoing efforts to provide adequate security throughout the period.

The Head of Public Affairs for the Ashanti Regional Police Command, DSP Godwin Ahianyo, assured the public that security personnel will be on standby to protect lives and property.

He added that officers from other security agencies will join the police team to maintain a safe environment.

DSP Ahianyo urged the public to cooperate with security personnel to achieve the desired outcomes.

The police command remains committed to ensuring the safety of all attendees during the observance.
