About 120 cadres of the erstwhile Provisional National Defence Council

Nkoranza (B/A), Feb. 3, GNA - About 120 cadres of the erstwhile Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) in Nkoranza South and North Districts of Brong-Ahafo have held a joint meeting at Nkoranza to initiate plans aimed at promoting unity and cooperation among the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to ensure the party's victory in the December 2012 elections.

Mr. Michael Sarpong, acting secretary of the cadres' front disclosed at the meeting that a delegation from the group would visit former President Jerry John Rawlings and President John Atta Mills to ensure the resolution of any impasse between them.

This, he said, would enable the two important figures of the NDC party to join hands and rally round all other members and supporters to win more votes for the party during the forthcoming general election.
