1,200 to take part in 2015 Experience Confab

Over 1,200 people are expected to gather at the 2015 'Experience Conference' to be held at The Maker’s House Chapel International, located at Point-One on Kwabenya road in the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra region to participate in a one-week spiritual encounter with the Almighty God.

The ‘Experience Conference,’ the third of its kind, will be on the theme; “Divine Turn Round.”
It will begin Sunday, October 4, and end on Sunday, October 11, 2015.

The one-week event is expected to bring together people from all walks of life to come under one roof to commune and have an encounter with God.

“The encounter is to bring humanity and divinity together,” said the General Overseer of The Maker’s House Chapel International, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye.

The event, which would be staged in the evening from 6:00 P.M., to 8:30 P.M., during weekdays and 6:30A.M., to 8:30A.M., during weekends, according to the man of God, would be full of music, prayer, sermon, worship and miracles.

Briefing journalists in Accra on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 Rev. Dr. Boadi Nyamekye Ghanaians to first seek the Kingdom of God in everything they do, since He is the Supreme Being who holds life and death.

According to him, without God, one is bound to fail in pursuing his or her aspirations.
“No matter what or who you are, if you don’t glide on the wings of God, you will fail. In our socio-economic turbulence, you need the grace of God to succeed,” he said.

The man of God who spoke on a lot of sensitive national issues lamented that the country was still crawling after 58 years of independence, but expressed optimism that it was still possible to drive development with a focused leadership and committed citizenry.

Dr. Boadi Nyamekye said the task of nation-building was a collective project of all Ghanaians, urging the current national administration to rally the nation’s human and material resources to promote good governance and development.

He advised the government of President John Dramani Mahama to brainstorm on ways to lift the spirit of Ghanaians.

According to him, although there had been some significant improvement in the economy, he urged Ghanaians to move closer to God and seek divine intervention over the various challenges confronting the nation.

He advocated for an all-inclusive fiscal policy to speed up economic growth, explaining that “all-inclusive fiscal policies will drive the nation's economy to success with sound political will for implementation."

The man of God prayed for good leadership that would take the country to greater heights, saying that Ghanaian leaders must be willing to make sacrifices to move the country forward.
