Happy Evening Drive wins ‘Emerging Show of the Year’ at the 2023 NCA Awards

Happy 98.9 FM's evening flagship programme, "Happy Evening Drive," won the coveted 2023 NCA Awards' "Emerging Show of the Year" title in a stunning celebration of Ghana's dynamic radio landscape.

The award ceremony, held at The Underbridge, East Legon, saw Happy Evening Drive recognized for its outstanding contributions to radio entertainment.

The show, which airs between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm, has become a beloved staple for listeners within its 11 months of existence since its debut in January.
The NCA Awards, an annual event that honors excellence in the media industry, highlighted the impact and popularity of Happy Evening Drive in its short time on the airwaves.

Hosted by the charismatic Akua Sika, the show is produced by experienced media executives, Ekumfi Princess (Mercy Bee) and Lulu Pinky (Lawrenda Lumor) with OBDJ as the official DJ. The show has become a sought-after platform for engaging conversations about lifestyle, celebrity news, gossip, and fashion, among other topics.
