After massively supporting close to 800 local farmers and small-scale enterprises with over 1 million Ghana Cedi loans from her outfit, the Deputy CEO of MASLOC and aspiring NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Yendi, Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah has distributed huge quantities of farm inputs and equipment to over 600 smallholder farmers in the Yendi Constituency. This forms part of her yearly support scheme for the local farmers in Yendi.

The items which included 5,400 9kg bags of certified maize seeds for planting, 1,200 bags of NPK fertilizer, 600 bags of Urea fertilizer and 600 Napsack sprayers, were meant to support the beneficiary farmers to improve on their farming business and enhance their economic condition.

As very usual of her, Hajia Abibata’s annual distribution of farm inputs for the Yendi farmers had been done on the quiet in order to protect the dignity of the beneficiaries.

The Deputy MASLOC CEO and her Campaign Team spent two clear days to distribute the items to all the farmers right in their own local communities.

Delightfully receiving the inputs, the beneficiary farmers could not but to heap gaudy praises on Hajia Abibata for her continuous massive yearly support.
According to them, the NPP Parliamentary Aspirant had not only been supportive and most reliable but also truthful in fulfilling every single promise made to improve the lives of her constituents.

They indicated that, even though they anticipated some support from the MASLOC Deputy CEO as part of her usual yearly support to them [farmers], this year’s support had been very massive and way beyond their imaginations.

“Our sister Hajia Abibata has been our [farmers] lifeblood inspiring us to continue to stay in farming because she is making our business less costly, attractive and more beneficial. She ploughs our land every year, gives us high yielding seeds, free fertilizers and spraying machines free of charge; which means that we don’t incur any cost in cultivating our produce. And at the end of the day every profit comes to us directly”, the farmers noted.

The NPP Aspiring Member of Parliament and Deputy MASLOC CEO, Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah commended her Campaign Team led by the Campaign Manager, Alhaji Zakaria Shei for the hard work and dedication towards her campaign and the distribution of the items.

She indicated that it had always been her strong desire to assist the deprived people and communities to come out of poverty by helping to enhance their economic activities.

Hajia Abibata admonished the famers not to politicize the gesture and also called on them to guard against vote buying schemes in this electioneering season.

She urged the farmers to ensure proper use of the inputs and equipment for good yield in order to generate more incomes at the end of the farming season.
