Two MPs pay GHC18,000 water bill arrears owed GWC for South Tongu communities

Hon Kwabla Mensah Woyome, MP for South Tongu in collaboration with Hon Doyo Ghansah, MP for Ada East have jointly donated GHC18,000 to pay water bill arrears owed the Ghana Water Company (GWC) by border communities in their respective constituencies

The beneficiary communities were; Dordoekope, Dzetorkoe, Agbadzakope, Akligbekope, Todzokope, and Kadzah, all in the South Tongu and Ada East Constituencies

Speaking at the premises of the Ghana Water Company at Big Ada on March 19, 2020, where the donation and payment of water bill arrears was made, Hon Kwabla Mensah Woyome underscored the importance of pipe borne water in these times of COVID-19 for all of mankind.

He encouraged elders and leaders of the beneficiary communities to educate their members to take advantage of running water in their homes/pipes and observe COVID-19 directives effectively

In attendance were NDC Executives and representatives of South Tongu District Assembly.
