NPP Blames Adjiri Blankson For Defeat

SUPPORTERS of NPP blames AMA Chief Executives Adjiri Blankson, for the NPP?s defeat in the Odododiodioo bye-election.

A section of the supporters following the defeat gathered at the party?s headquarters looking for the ?head? of the AMA boss.

The supporters contended that their party?s inept policies, coupled with the actions and inactions of the Accra Mayor contributed to the party?s negative performance in the bye-elections.

Their feelings were even so deepened as results at the AMA Polling Station showed a poor performance by the NPP. It managed to collect only 31 of he votes there. It is suspected that most members of the AMA who to cast their vote at that particular polling station, voted against the NPP candidate.

However, there are media speculations that AMA Chief Executive may face some internal problems for the defeat.

In a related development, the NDC Deputy General Secretary Baba Jamal has stated that in view of the emphatic win by the NDC over the NPP the days of the government are numbered.
