Deputy National Security Coordinator in Charge of Airports, Hopeson Adorye, is gearing to contest as a Member of Parliament for Kpone -Katamanso seat on the NPP ticket.

The current MP for the area is Nii Laryea Afoto-Agbo an NDC MP.

He has officially declared his intention to contest the parliamentary primaries of the NDC in the Constituency.

Hopeson Adorye made his intention in an interview with Kwame Tutu on Anopa Nkomo on Accra based Kingdom FM 107.7.

“Through my hard work am very popular now and people within the Kpone -Katamanso know my competence and believe am the man to steer the affairs to lead the constituency if they give me the chance in the 2020 elections.”

He indicated that the Ghanaian knows what is right and would always stand by it at all times.

Mr Hopeson Adorye, a tough-talking member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in September 2017 was appointed the Deputy National Security Coordinator in charge of airports by President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

He was a member of a pro-NPP group the young patriots and took part in series of demonstrations that protested the governance style of the then President John Dramani Mahama and its handling of issues of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA).
