Deputy Minister expresses gratitude to constituents

Bekwai (Ash), Dec 23, GNA -- Mr Kofi Poku-Adusei, Deputy Minister of Women and Children's Affairs, has expressed gratitude to voters in the Bekwai Constituency for renewing his mandate to serve another four-year term as Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.

"I am indeed grateful for the honour done me by my re-election to represent you for the second time running in Parliament".

These were contained in a statement he issued and signed on Thursday at Bekwai in the Amansie East District.

He noted that the massive votes they gave him showed the high level of confidence and trust he enjoyed among them and gave assurance that he would never abuse that.

"I have every reason to believe that as we prepare to enter into a new year, we would all make a firm resolve to work together to move our constituency forward.''

''My humble appeal is that we put the elections behind us and collectively share in the government's vision of accelerated development".

The Deputy Minister wished the people a happy Christmas and more prosperous New Year.
