The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Augustus Andrew Nana Kwasi and the man he defeated at their Regional contest, Joseph Yammin have clashed over an office that the latter has established, MyNewsGh.com has gathered.

Tension started between the two when Mr Joseph Yammin MyNewsGh.com understands created his private office at Odeneho Kwadaso in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti region where he receives party people.

Our checks revealed that the office will be occupied by Joseph Yammin, Brogya Genfi, Lawyer Evans Amankwaa and some members of team Yammin a move that has not gone down well with the Regional Chairman who believes his former contender wants to run a parallel system to frustrate his administration.

MyNewsGh.com can confirm that there has been misunderstanding between Chairman Nana Kwasi and Joseph Yammin after the party regional executives elections which is said to have heightened following the establishment of the new party office.

Mr. Joseph Yammin, when reached, confirmed that he created his own office to work for the party towards the 2020 elections and stated that he sees nothing wrong with his intention which has been given a twist by the current Regional Chairman.

He failed to give further comment on the matter but the office of Nana Akwasi is yet to speak about the issue.

It would be recalled that Mr. Yammin who was tipped by many to win as Regional Chairman of the NDC last September lost by 88 votes with his closest contender, Augustus Andrew Nana Kwasi carrying the day.

The former Ashanti Regional Minister polled 611 while Augustus Andrew Nana Kwasi polled 699 but there appear to be a friction between the two ever since that happened.
