"The barter trade deal will involve alumina processed from bauxite deposits in the country for a facility of US$2billion from Sinohydro Group Limited for infrastructural development."

In most of the International Agreements, Ghana's Parliament has to ratify all international agreements before such agreements are finalized. My question is: Has Ghana's Parliament ratified the US$2bn bauxite deal before it was finalized?

Ghanaians should keep a close eye on the traitorous Akufo-Addo. This President wouldn't care a hoot to sell Ghana short. Any ambitious leader of an African country is a very dangerous person, because most African leaders are not smart negotiators. Those who think Akufo-Addo is a smart leader must think again, because no smart leader will have endorsed the AMERI deal and send it to Parliament for deliberations.

I have said it once and I will say it again. The useless Ghana media is giving this man, Akufo-Addo a free pass because of JD Mahama corrupt administration. But seriously Akufo-Addo/Bawumia team lied to Ghanaians to attain power. When they got power, they have no answers to Ghana's economic problems. The only answer the Akufo-Addo government has is to mortgage Ghana's natural resources to achieve his selfish goals.

Akufo-Addo is being treated like a king who does no wrong. Ghanaians gave this man majority in Parliament, therefore he feels he can sell the country at his own whims. As much as I do not wish to see the NDC hooligans come back to power, I believe the media in Ghana has a very important role to play in this instance.

The media in Ghana must stop treating Akufo-Addo and his bloated government with kid's gloves, but scrutinize all these Chinese agreements he is signing. It is about time the media in Ghana insert itself into nation building and stop treating Akufo-Addo like a king.
