NPP Wins 'Scent No', 'Mehuri So'

Information has it that that NDC has lost the struggle for the copyright on two popular songs ?Mehuriso and Scent No to the NPP.

According to the information, both parties wanted to acquire the copyright on the two songs to enable them have exclusive use of the songs for campaigning towards the December 2004 elections. Unfortunately for NDC, it has lost both songs to NPP which now holds exclusive copyright on the use of the songs.

Prophet Seth Frimpong confirmed in an interview that his ?Mehuriso, Afe Wei Ye Yen Afe song has been bought by the NPP, but refused to disclose the payment arrangements involved. T

he man behind the other song, ?Scent No?, Sydney of the Apuskeleke fame, could not be reached, but it?s been reliably informed that the copyright over his song has been bought by NPP.

Following the acquisition of the copyright on the use of ?Scent No? by NPP, certain musicians, who would want to remain anonymous, have added a few more words to the lyrics in the song to make it more appealing to NPP supporters, which would be sold on the market, in two weeks time.
