United 1 Ghana Youth Wing Lobbies For Kwame Asiedu Walker

Press RELEASE

‘United 1 Ghana’ Youth Wing
Lobbies For Kwame Asiedu Walker

The Youth Wing of the United 1 Ghana, an advocacy for improved policy formulation has begun a nationwide tour to lobby for Alfred Kwame Asiedu Walker. As part of the tour, the team is visiting the various university campuses on the theme: It’s Time for a New Ghana.

Ghana would attain 60 years next year and in the 59 years of Ghana’s life, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have shared 35 years among themselves. Yet as the team observes, our problems continue to worsen each day: youth unemployment is high, agriculture is on the decline with little or no raw materials to feed our factories, corruption is on the ascendancy, andthere’s a parching lack of good drinking water in most parts of the country, among many other hardships the country suffers.

We believe Kwame Asiedu Walker is best positioned to contest the November 7, 2016 General Elections in Ghana as an Independent Candidate. He believes in Ghana and believes a new Ghana.Under his leadership as president will see massive transformation in all aspects. A new Ghana that will not embrace corruption but fight it; a new Ghana that will rebuild the fortunes of the country to provide decent jobs, portable drinking water, and drastically reduce the excessive burden on citizens.

Asiedu Walker is a Ghanaian born and raised in Larteh, Akwapim in the Eastern Region. He attended the Ghana National College in Cape Coast before continuing his studies in the United States of America (USA) at the University of Illinois; and graduated with a dual Major in 1983; ‘Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design’ and ‘Bachelor of Fine Arts’ . He also attended the Master’s Program at the School of ‘Product Design’ with focus on Design Engineering and Manufacturing at the North Carolina State University, USA.

He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a private infrastructure development company, which specialises in, and has initiated several infrastructural development projects under Build Own Transfer (a Public Private Partnership structure) involving government and businesses within Ghana, Switzerland, South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Botswana, Gabon, Canada, France, UK and Ireland.

He is also a frequent policy advisor to One Voice Africa-Ghana. An International advocacy group.

Desmond Bress-Biney, leader of the team is calling on all Ghanaians support and vote massively for Kwame Asiedu Walker on November 7, 2016 to be elected the President of Ghana.
