NPP should come on board to fix challenges - Ade Coker

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Ade Coker has called on opposition parties to collaborate with government in its quest to find lasting solutions to the economic woes confronting the Ghanaian citizenry.

Contributing to a panel discussion programme on U TV, Ade Coker stated that nation-building should be a collective responsibility of all interested parties.

According to him, the parties, particularly the major opposition party, the NPP, should offer their expertise and insights on how the problems facing the economy can be fixed.

He urged the party to join forces with the current administration as it makes frantic efforts to cushion Ghanaians and enhance the progress of the economy.

Admitting the crisis state of the economy, Ade Coker said it is prudent if the parties could turn down their opposing instinct and rather "come on board. Everybody knows this country is facing challenges, not only Ghana; the big industrial economies. They still face challenges…The President says we should stop whining and rather move forward.”
