Manly-Spain advises youth on productive

Mr. Henry Ekow Manly-Spain, an Accra based businessman, had appealed to the youth not to allow themselves to be misused by politicians for their selfish ends.

He said Ghana had a lot for the youth and they should do their best to protect their future and the country.

Mr. Manly-Spain was speaking at Effiduase near Koforidua at the induction service for new executives of the Effiduase Circuit Methodist Youth Fellowship at the Effiduase Calvary Methodist Church on Sunday.

The seven-member new executive has Mr. Richard Atakora, as Chairman, Mr. Samuel Appah Paniel, Secretary and Ms Vivian Nyarku, Treasurer.

He told the new executives that their service was a calling and urged the youth to offer their service for the growth of the church both materially and spiritually, to receive blessings from God.

In a sermon, Rev Maxwell Obeng, Minister In-charge of Asokore Bethel Methodist Church, called on the leadership of the church to create opportunities for the youth to play leadership roles in the church.
