J.S Annan demands dismissal of NDC executives in KEEA

Trouble is brewing at KEEA following an alleged assault on the younger brother of the late president, Dr. Cadman Mills and the incumbent MP for the area, Dr. Jospeh Samuel Annan, when President John Mahama visited Elmina

Party supporters who thronged the Nana Kobina Gyan square at Elmina in the presence of the president, hooted at the parliamentary candidate and prevented the president from endorsing the candidature of Dr. J.S Annan.

The camp of Dr. J.S Annan held a news conference Friday calling for the dismissal of all constituency executives and sanctions meted out to Regional executives of the party, who he accused of masterminding the assault.

Constituency secretary of the party, Yakubu Ennum at a news conference on Friday claimed that the attack was planned in the office of the MCE, in support of the independent candidate, Dr. Ato Quarshie against Dr. J.S Annan, the parties preferred candidate.

Mr. Yakubu Ennum mentioned a certain Francis Ayittey and one Sariki from the Elmina Zongo in the KEEA constituency, as those who led the assault.

He said the two allegedly bused people from Morree, purposely to launch the attack in the full glare of President Mahama.
