"Your Vote will determine the destiny of Ghana"-Dr. Konadu Apraku

Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, former Minister of Trade and Industry in the Kufuor led New Patriotic Party administration, has appealed to Ghanaians to cast a "wise" ballot during the December polls as their vote would determine the destiny of the country.

He said the December poll was critical in making or unmaking the progress, development and growth of the country adding, "You need to choose well for the country to have a sustainable future.”

Dr. Apraku said this at the launch of Mr. Kobina Okyere-Darko's campaign to kick start rigorous canvassing for votes in Takoradi.

He said the NPP was poised to fix the economy as well as reviving some state enterprises such as the National Health Insurance Scheme among others.

On the oil industry, he said Ghanaians, particularly the people of the Western Region, would derive the maximum benefits with the introduction of the Local Content Policy to address specific needs.

Dr. Apraku reiterated the party's commitment in making senior high school education free, adding "If it is possible in the three northern regions, then it is possible throughout the country."

Mr. Okyere-Darko called for clean politics and that "Politics of insults cannot advance our course".
