Yes People's Party (YPP) takes Ghana by storm

A new entrant into the political party arena has been licensed by the Electoral Commission. The party goes by the name, Yes People’s Party (YPP).

According to the EC website, sixteen parties, excluding the National Democratic Party (NDP) have been licensed to operate as political parties.

The founder and Chairman of the YPP, Mr. Anin-Kofi Addo, told XYZ News his party is ready to take the country by storm. He says the party is ready to change the status quo in the country and bring sanity into the political landscape.

Meanwhile, officials of the NDP are expected to receive the full license to operate later on Friday. The party was given an interim license but its General Secretary says they have met all the requirements

The NDP is also lining up a surprise flagbearer in the person of the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings.
