ER Minster advises chiefs to settle differences amicably

Mr. Victor Smith, Eastern Regional Minister, has advised chiefs to settle their differences amicably to promote peace and security for national development.

He called on chiefs to be law abiding and channel their grievances through the proper channel for redress to ensure peace.

Mr. Smith said these when he paid a courtesy call on the Aburihene, Otubuor Djan Kwasi, at his palace at Aburi on Friday, as part of his familiarization tour of the Akuapem South Municipality.

He later met District Heads of Departments in the municipality, and challenged them to support Government to implement its ‘Better Ghana Agenda.”

He later inaugurated a six-unit classroom block with toilet facilities at Obirikorang Amanfro, and inspected road projects in the area.**
