Plot Against Okudzeto

Exposed

Hodogbey, Chief Caught Pants Down

Intelligence Desk Report

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for the North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region, Hon. Charles Hodogbey, has been picked up by the convex lenses of The Informer in a sinister attempt to prevent Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Deputy Minister of Information from contesting him.
In order to secure automatic qualification to the sixth parliament as a member, Mr. Charles Hodogbey had mobilized few ill-advised chiefs from his village, led by the so-called Acting President of the Dorfor Traditional Council, to issue a very thoughtless and a lawless decree, that the Deputy Information Minister should not be allowed to campaign in any of the Dorfor towns, our intelligence sources have revealed.
As an agent of Charles Hodogbey, Togbe Adela Ananse Tritriku XII claims that the decision to ban Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa from campaigning in the area stems from the role he played denying Dorfor the capital of the newly created North Tongu District, this paper was hinted.
Information gathered also revealed that, Togbe Adela Ananse Tritriku XII, in moving his agenda against Mr. Ablakwa higher, decrees that anybody who is seen campaigning for any other candidate apart from his cherish and non-performing Charles Hodogbey should be severely dealt with.
As if that was not enough, the self-acclaimed Acting President of the Dorfor traditional council has instructed further that, houses of those who will campaign Mr. Ablakwa should be razed down.
So ridiculous on his part, Togbe Adela Ananse Tritriku XII is on record to have said that his decision to prevent Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa from contesting his lovely Charles Hodogbey is that he cannot speak Ewe, and so therefore, cannot campaign effectively.
It is therefore strange that weeks after the government decided to site the district capital of the newly created district at Battor Dugame; it is now that Togbe Adela Ananse Tritriku XII is calling for Ablakwa’s head, and with show of desperation trying to cause disaffection for him.
The Informer has it that the Deputy Information Minister, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is the preferred choice of the people, since their MP has failed woefully to deliver as expected of him.
It also came during our in-depth search that, Mr. Charles Hodogbey sensing the danger Ablakwa will pose to him, has resorted to distributing pieces of cloths to residents so as to get their support.
When Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa was contacted about the machinations aimed at destroying him by the incumbent MP and his assigns, he refused to comment.
Nevertheless, information gathered as of press time yesterday indicated that, despite all the dirty campaigns being mapped out by Togbe Adela Ananse Tritriku XII, the Deputy Information Minister was mobbed when he appeared at the inauguration of a Better Ghana Agenda Movement at Agorveme in Dorfor-Adidome, as the special guest of honour.
With no respect for his elders and traditional authorities, Mr. Charles Hodogbey arrived very late at the programme, panicking upon seeing Mr. Ablakwa.
Reports gathered has it that, the reckless ‘fatwa’ issued by supposed Acting President of Dorfor Traditional Council, Togbe Adela Ananse Tritriku XII has stirred a huge controversy among elders and traditional authorities in the area, with some even planning to hold a press conference later this week so as to correct the misguided comments of Togbe Adela Ananse Tritriku XII.
To us, perhaps, Charles Hodogbey and his Togbe Adela Ananse Tritriku XII, urgently have spent some time to learn more about the political history of this country, so they do not go about disgracing themselves.
With the assertion that, Mr. Ablakwa cannot speak Ewe and so therefore, will find it very difficult to campaign, we think, Togbe Adela Ananse Tritriku XII should be reminded of history and how Osegyafo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah became an MP in Accra even though he does not speak Ga, and also learn of Nkrumah’s daughter, Samia Yaaba, who is now the MP for Nzema; and stop bothering our ears with their cock and bull stories.
