Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has lambasted veteran journalist Kwesi Pratt Jnr., describing him as a “hypocrite” and “the biggest threat to our survival as NDC.”
In a social media post reacting to Kwesi Pratt Jnr. 's recent interview, in which he expressed concern about developments within the NDC and the direction of the Mahama administration.
Anyidoho accused him of undermining the party and President John Dramani Mahama’s administration, particularly over discussions surrounding the government’s “Reset Agenda.”
He also stated that Kwesi Pratt’s daughter is among appointees in the Mahama-led government and criticised her performance, saying she was “making nonsense” of the agenda.
“Kwesi Prat’s daughter is one of the JM appointees making nonsense of the “Reset Agenda” because she just talks rubbish. Kwesi Prat himself is a BIG liability to this JM Administration because of his gross hypocrisy.
“Who is Kwesi Prat blaming? He should blame himself first. Is he not the one who thinks he has hijacked the NDC for his personal parochial gain? Is he not the one messing up our Foreign Policy with his surrogate? He is the biggest existential threat to our survival as NDC. Kwesi Prat: go and rebuild your CPP and leave us alone to rebuild our NDC - you have never been NDC so just leave us alone. Hypocrite and parasite. We shall flush him out of the NDC very soon,” he said.

In the said interview, Kwesi Pratt said he felt “very sad” for President Mahama, claiming that there appeared to be internal resistance to the government’s “Reset Agenda.”
According to him, while President Mahama came into office with plans to address challenges in sectors such as education, health, and the economy, some individuals within his administration were not aligned with those objectives.
He suggested that certain appointees were more focused on political positioning than on supporting the president’s reform agenda.
Kwesi Pratt also lamented what he described as internal distractions, saying discussions within NDC circles had shifted away from policy implementation toward succession politics.
