Former Savannah Regional Minister and former Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Salifu Adam Braimah, has reportedly passed away after a short illness.
According to a report by citinewsroom.com, he passed away at the University of Ghana Medical Centre.
A brief notice shared with his family on Sunday, April 11, 2026, described him as a brother and uncle popularly known as “Uncle Sally,” noting that arrangements are underway to transport his body to Salaga for burial.

“With a heavy heart, I announce the demise of our brother, Uncle Sally, and former minister of the Savannah Region. The sad event occurred at the University of Ghana Hospital after a short illness. Arrangements are underway to convey the corpse to Salaga for burial. May Allah admit him into Jannatul Firdaus,” the notice said.
The late Salifu Adam Braimah was a member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
He represented the Salaga South Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.
