Aspirant provides bicycles

Nkoranza (B/A), Nov. 27, GNA - Mr. Kwaku Poku-Boah, an aspiring parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress in Nkoranza South constituency, has given 10 bicycles valued at six million cedis to the zonal executives of the party towards the 2008 electioneering campaign.

Mr. Poku-Boah told the Ghana News Agency at Nkoranza he intended to extend a similar donation to party executives in Nkoranza North constituency.

He said the provision of means of transport for both constituencies would enable the party to undertake a massive campaign to propel the party to victory next year.

Mr. Poku-Boah called on the party delegates to the impending primaries not to be influenced with money but rather to vote for experienced and a knowledgeable candidate like him. Mr. Poku-Boah, a legal practitioner, is contesting the primaries with Mr. Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, an economist and Mr. James Opoku Worae, a retired teacher.
