NDC parliamentary aspirant calls for harder work

Nkoranza (B/A), July 31, GNA - Mr Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, 33, an aspiring parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nkoranza South constituency has urged party members and sympathizers to work harder to woo more people into the party.

Mr Agyekum, a student in business in London is contesting Mr James Opoku Worae, a teacher and Mr Kwaku Poku Boah, a legal practitioner. He told the Ghana News Agency at Nkoranza that education and sports were his major priorities and would help set up a scholarship scheme to support brilliant but needy students, as well as sports talents in the area.

He urged delegates to vote for him at the primaries to enable him to use his knowledge and experience to promote activities of the party. Mr Agyekum advised parents to invest their resources in the education of their children and urged the youth to eschew negative practices that could ruin their lives.
