You have no right to question Koku’s contribution to NDC – Dela Coffie tells Hanna Bissiw

A loyalist of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dela Coffie, has questioned the moral right of Hanna Bissiw, the National Women’s Organiser elect, to question the long-standing contribution of Koku Anyidoho to the party.

According to him, Madam Bissiw was on an Accra based Okay FM, where she runs down Koku’s party first agenda and in the process endorsed his contender, Asiedu Nketia.

“We heard you on #OkayFM yesterday - at least those of us who care to listen heard you express your quaint views on general NDC politics, and your attempt to make Koku Anyidoho the butt of your hallucinatory squawks,” Dela wrote on his Facebook Timeline.

“As someone who became women's organiser fruitlessly simply because there was little alternative on offer, you shouldn't be thinking of yourself too highly, such that you could talk down on your potential boss,” he added.

Koku Anyidoho is seeking to unseat Johnson Asiedu Nketia as the General Secretary of the party in Saturday’s polls.

Madam Hanna Bissiw, in her interview, stated that it is her right to support Asiedu Nketia over Koku Anyidoho.

This, Dela Coffie, believes is because both Asiedu Nketia and Hanna Bissiw hail from the Brong Ahafo Region but also questioned what exactly he (Asiedu Nketia) brought on board during the 2016 general elections.

“You are from Brong Ahafo and the women's organiser elect of the NDC. The man that you're rooting for is your tribesman from the same Brong Ahafo, and he has served as General Secretary for 13years. It is of no concern to me if you wish to have the entire national executive committee members from Brong Ahafo but my question is, what exactly did your lot bring on board in the last elections so much that you want control of the party?”

Dela Coffie noted that under the leadership of Asiedu Nketia as the 2016 campaign chairman for their outfit, “the NDC lost 20 out of the 29 Seats in his home Brong Ahafo Region, including his own TAIN Constituency. Even your good self-lost the Tano North seat for the NDC as an incumbent MP out of your arrogance and belligerence. And yet you guys still want another mandate to take the party deeper into the abyss, huh?”

He further warned Madam Bissiw to continue to stir up fake drama to distract the party from Asiedu Nketia’s crook administration which is imploding.
