2006 CAF Chams League: Match Officials For Hearts, Kotoko

The Referees Appointment Committee of the Confederation Of African Football(CAF) has appointed referee Jerome Damon of South Africa as the man at the helm of affairs in the up-coming group stage match of this year?s CAF Champions League between Ghana?s Kumasi Asante Kotoko and their Algerian counterparts, J.S Kabylie in far away Algiers, Algeria this weekend. His two South African compatriots, Enock Molefe and Happy Radebe will be assisting on the lines in a match that promises to be very cagey. Kick off time is 8 pm Ghana time.

In another related development, referee Raphael Evehe Divine of Cameroun, is expected to be in the center with his countrymen, Jean Marie Endeng Zogo and Evarist Menkouande as his two assistants for the Hearts Of Oak / Enyimba FC encounter at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium, also on Sunday. Haruna Ayuba of Tamale will be the fourth referee with Didavi Bruno of Benin as the match commissioner. Kick off time is 3.00 pm Ghana time.

The five African match officials who were on the stand-by list of referees for the just-ended 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany includes Jerome Damon, Enock Molefe of South Africa, Mohammed Guezzaz of Morroco, Djezarr Brahim of Morroco, Jean Marie Endeng Zoko of Cameroun and Ghana?s Justice Yeboah.
