UEW TEIN executives asked to propagate good work of government

The Minster for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Mike Allen Hammah has urged members of the University College of Education; Winneba branch of the Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to continue to propagate the good work of government to the people.

This will enable more people to vote for the NDC to retain power in order to continue the better Ghana Agenda to improve the lot of the people.

Mr Hammah said these in a massage read for him by The Very Rev. Eldad Bonney, Presiding Member for Effutu Municipal Assembly, at a handing over ceremony by the old TEIN executives to the incoming executives in Winneba on Saturday.

Mr Hammah urged the 13 new executives of the University of Education Winneba Network, to let the success of the party be their topmost priority.

He urged them to work tirelessly towards the victory of the party in the December general elections, adding that the government was doing its best to develop the nation to improve the living standards of the people.

Mr Hammah said the enemies of the government had refused to acknowledge the good work of the NDC.

According to Mr Hammah, NDC as a party has the plight of the nation at heart and that it will continue to ensure that the peace and tranquility in the country would be maintained during and after the December elections.

Mr Godwin Agimenu, the out-going President expressed his gratitude to the members for their support during their tenure of office and hoped that they will extend the same to the incoming executives.

Mr Albert A Akaniim, President of the new executives thanked the members for electing them and promised that they would not abuse the confidence reposed in them.

Mr Samuel Richard Zigah, a patron of TEIN, urged the new executives to study the constitutions of the party to enable them to equip themselves with the aims and objective of the party.

Madam Samiatu Mohammed, Tema constituency Women’s Organizer and a guest, entreated the executives to work harder towards the victory of the party.**
