Top female officials in NPP have ignored us – Loyal Ladies' PRO laments

Public Relations Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) dominant Women group, Loyal Ladies, Edwina Boamah has lamented that some top female officials in government have disconnected themselves from them after winning the 2016 elections.

According to her, as it usually happens in the men domain whereby senior members trained the young ones to be great, the situation is different at the women front.

She added that the situation has brought certain disconnection at the female grassroots level.

She appealed to the leaders to try and create some bond with the young ones in order to nature them to encourage the women empowerment policy of the party.

She was speaking at the Loyal Ladies Greater Accra Regional Conference on the theme” Bridging the expectation gab between top hierarchy and the foot soldiers for victory 2020?

Also, Greater Accra Captain of the group, Yayra Agbeehia called on the president to create more opportunities for them.

She also urged her colleagues to keep fighting hard to attain higher height in their political lives.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director of Communications NPP, Yaw Preko assured the foot soldiers not to give up on the party since better opportunities are coming.

He also expressed his gratitude for to the group for mobilizing such huge crowd to plan ahead of 2020 general elections.
