Laryea Kingston?s career with Russian side Lokomotiv Moskva has started on a bad patch with the player picking an injury on his debut last night.

Kingston picked up a thigh injury which rules him out of the club?s attempt to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit against Sevilla FC in Spain next week in the Uefa Cup.

The midfielder lasted only an hour of yesterday's home defeat in Moscow in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 before limping off with a thigh injury.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian international will miss the second leg on 23 February, although the full extent of his injury is not yet known.

Kingston was a January signing by the Russian side.
