Prince Baako gains support as NPP Vice-Chair race thickens

Former Northern Regional Supervisor of Zoomlion Prince Alhassan Baako is working hard to clinch on to the Northern Regional First Vice Chairman position on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to our news team, Prince Baako who is a member of the Regional Finance Committee revealed his intention during a courtesy call to the Regional Council of Elders.

Being the first to publicly declare his intention, most youth groups including the party communication machinery has lauded his zeal for the position and are in high spirit to work with him.

On his part, the Chairman of the Council of Elders in the Northern Region Lawyer I.R Alhassan commended Prince Baako Alhassan for coming on board at the crucial hour. He also urged him to use his high won reputation to foster unity among the incoming executives.

The ace lawyer bemoaned the attitude of party supporters for always waiting for funds from the top to organize the party, calling on them to start mobilizing the party ahead of the 2016 election.

Apart from serving the party in various forms, he is being admired and very popular among the entire political divide. His philanthropic gestures and support to the youth cannot be relegated to the background and would surely magnetized votes for him among the delegates.

He served as the Regional Supervisor of Zoomlion and doubled as the head of the three Northern Regions between the year 2007 and 2009 and these undoubtedly, acquainted him to every nuke and cranny of the Region, a complement to his understanding of the political trend and the right strategies to win power for the NPP.
