Prez Mills is Not ‘Edwumawura’

We have observed with great reservation an attempt by Prof. Mills and his NDC to deliberately, arrogate and plagiarize the term ‘Edwumawura’ as an Atta Mills attribute. We have noted, that on the Saturday, 17th December 2011, when H.E Prof. Mills Arrived from his one month tour, his supporters and sympathizers who were bussed to go and meet him at the airport were carrying placards that had the inscription, ‘WE LOVE YOU EDWUMAWURA’ as reported by the Daily Graphic of Monday, 19th December 2011, page 3. Experience has taught us that in the 2008, it was the same Prof. Mills and the NDC who imitated the term ‘Yeresesam’ from Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and made it an NDC term just to confuse the electorates who had wanted to vote for Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom.

To set the records straight, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom is not called Edwumawura just for nothing. He earned the name due to his ability to create Jobs for thousands of Ghanaians in his own personal capacity. Prof. Mills cannot make any such claim. On the contrary, it is under the Mills Administration, that unemployment has risen so high, forcing some unemployed graduates to form an association of Unemployed graduates. This is the first in the history of Ghana.

Prof. Mills belongs to the academia and he knows very well that Plagiarism demeans the image and credibility of anyone who is found of such act. We might have taken the first act of taking over the Yeresesam for granted, but we shall certainly not allow for him to take Edwumawura. We like to encourage the NDC and its supporters to be more innovative and desist from actively stealing the innovations of Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and his hard-working campaign team.

Thank you
