At Ajumako-Besease in the Central Region, voting delayed at most polling stations due to late arrival of voting materials from Ajumako, the district headquarters. The Presiding Officer, Mr Kwesi Yankson at the Methodist Polling Station told the Ghana News Agency that 53 out of the 370 registered voters cast their vote as at 0730 hours. Forty out of the 518 registered voters at the Methodist Primary "B" Polling Station in the Nyantsia Electoral Area had cast their vote as at 0740 hours when the GNA visited.

While at the Methodist Primary "A" Polling Station 83 people out of the 552 registered voters had cast their vote as at 0830 hours. At the Anglican Primary "B" Polling Station in the Bantama Electoral Area 88 out of the total registered voters had cast their vote as 0840 hours.

The Anglican Primary "A" Polling Station recorded 153 out the total registered voters cast their vote as at 0855 hours. Most of the polling stations visited had only party agents from the New Patriot Party (NPP and National Democratic Congress (NDC).
