The Voice in a story headlined: "Minister lauds enterprises", reports that a Deputy Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, Mr Lee Ocran, has declared that the current national policies on Science, technology and the environment, are aimed at ensuring that all development efforts and plans are based on sound environmental practices. According to the paper, Mr Ocran said many enmterprises in developing countries had been concentrating on financial, marketing, human resources and leaving out the important aspect of business planning. The Deputy Minister said the sad result has been the enterprises inability to cope with the technological advancement which has become the order of the day. He said Ghana fully supports the programme of United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and has accordingly incorporated issues of technology and innovation management. Mr Ocran was speaking at an awards ceremony for innovative industrial enterprises, organised by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre in conjunction with the Ministry of Trade and Industry. GRI
