Parliamentary aspirant for New Juaben South submits form

Koforidua, Sept. 15, GNA – Dr Kwaku Owusu-Acheampong, a parliamentary aspirant for New Juaben South of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has submitted his nomination forms to the constituency executives of the party in Koforidua.

Dr Owusu-Acheampong, Director of Research at the Koforidua Polytechnic, is contesting the parliamentary primary alongside three other candidates, who are, Mr Ransford Owusu Boakye, Mr Kwaku Asamoah and Mr Okyere Kusi.

Speaking to newsmen at the constituency office, Dr Owusu-Acheampong said his main objective was to improve the level of education in the area.

He said even though the government was doing more to improve the level of education in the area, he would also contribute his quota to supplement the efforts.

Dr Owusu-Acheampong said he was confident that he was going to win the seat for the NDC by 35,000 votes when given the nod.

He appealed to delegates to vote for him because he was the only person who can wrestle the seat from the New Patriotic Party in 2012.
