Over 600 NPP delegates at Oforikrom constituency in Kumasi marched to pick nomination form for the sitting MP, Dr Emmanuel Marfo.

Leading the delegates, Mr Isaiah Boamah, a polling station chairman at Kotei electoral area said the gesture is to fully endorse Dr Marfo to run for a second term in line with the spirit of 4 more for Nana, 4 more for Marfo.

He said majority of the delegates believe that as a two term constituency chairman of the party in opposition, it will be unfair and will not encourage sacrificial service to the party if they sit down for him to go for only one term as an MP.

They appreciate his humility, commitment to duty and his care for the party and that is why majority of delegates have opted to join the march to send a signal that they stand with Dr Marfo for victory 2020.

The constituency chairman, Mr Kwame Antwi appealed for unity and urged the Party to give the incumbent MP a ministerial position after delivering another massive votes for Nana Addo in 2020.
