Nii Kakai calls for unity in Krowor NPP

Nii Bubui Kakai, former chairman of the Krowor constituency branch of the NPP, at the weekend urged the rank and file of the party to come together and unite as one people who are really determined to wrestle party from the NDC.

Nii Bubui Kakai, who is now a patron of the party in the constituency, pleaded with the party members to put the past behind them and rather remain united and focused, adding “this is the only way forward for the party to win the Krowor seat.”

Addressing members of polling station campaign teams during a general meeting, the former chairman said there was enough evidence on the grounds to show that the NPP has a better chance of winning the seat back from the NDC in the 2012 elections.

He therefore stressed the need for all to join hands with the parliamentary candidate and the party leadership to ensure effective campaign that will ensure a resounding victory in the 2012 elections.

Another stalwart of the party in the constituency, DCOP Odai (rtd), also called on all members to intensify their campaign in order to win more votes for the party. He noted that though the incumbent MP and the NDC had woefully failed the electorate in the constituency, there should be no room for complacency.

He again urged all party members to forget about what happened in the last elections and put the party first in whatever they do since victory beckons the NPP.

Also pledging his support for the party was another patron, Quaye Ellis, who said he was ready to collaborate with other people to provide the needed resources to help lead the party to victory.
