Nana Akufo-Addo is dragging NPP into retirement

A member of the communication team of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwame Dombey has said that the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo- Addo, is dragging the NPP into retirement.

Kwame Dombey stated that Nana Akufo- Addo knows he is retiring from politics as such dragging the party along with him.

According to Kwame Dombey, like Hon. Kennedy Agyapong said, the party should not waste time over the lost battle but plan for the next elections.

Speaking on Okay FM, Kwame Dombey pointed out that for some leading members of the party like Dr. Charles Wereko- Brobbey and Kwame Pianim to come out to condemn the actions of the leaders of the party, it is an indication that they are not happy with the trend the party has taken with the court case.

He reiterated that the rest of the NPP members should back off from the court proceedings; stating that the NPP is an alien to the court case since the petition was filed by Nana Akufo- Addo, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey and not the entire party.

The NDC communicator added that these three “mafias” as he describes them have their own personal interest.

He again said that the three “gang” have devoted themselves to hold the nation to “hostage” and this act started when they sent their party members to “ambush and kidnap” ex-President Kuffour to stop him from attending the swearing-in ceremony of President Mahama.

He said there is no democracy in the NPP since anyone who opposes Akufo-Addo’s ideology will be considered an enemy of the party.

He however stated that the New Patriotic Party will stay in opposition for 20 years and beyond with the current trend of the party; citing that the name of NPP will be wiped out from the political landscape since they have decided to destroy the country.

He advised NPP leaders to be bold enough to call Nana Akufo-Addo to order to save the future of the party.
